ARMOR SHOP Weapons are generally just what you think they are; something you can use to fight people. Contrary to what you're probably thinking, they aren't really too necessary on KoW, depending on your class, but hey, it may be a good investment to maintain something strong to fight with anyways. |
ARMORS Headpiece A headpiece can be anything from a helmet to a hat or mask. (Free) Simple Condition: A makeshift armor of sorts; utterly useless in most combat situations, should such arise, but nobody wants to see you naked. Standard T-shirts and sneakers are included here. ($$$) Basic Condition: This is your most basic of armors; nothing special about it at all, and it seems just a little cheap and poorly made. For instance, a plain leather vest, or an old helmet. ($$$) Standard Condition: A standard armor, average in all ways. Nothing special about it, but it seems to be well-made, at least. This could be a decent gauntlet, or a thick cloak, or such. ($$$) Advanced Condition: The most cutting-edge of ordinary armors; this here is something clearly ahead of its time, and is very powerful. Could be a particularly strong shield, or something akin to a bulletproof vest. One free Enhancement slot. ($$$) Rare Condition: This is where we get into the less ordinary armors that one may find; Rare armors are very hard to find, and are borderline relics, oftentimes. They are second to very few, and are quite potent, in the right hands. Examples include an ancient suit of plate, or a particularly elegant pendant. One free Enhancement slot. ($$$) Legendary Condition: The absolute pinnacle of armory; a legendary armor is exactly what it sounds like, normally. An armor that is legendary, sometimes even notorious. While not necessary, a thread explaining how one located such a piece of equipment is highly recommended. These include such armors as the Tarnhelm, or a crown once worn by a powerful king. Two free Enhancement slots. Chestpiece A chestpiece can be anything from a shirt to a breastplate. UPGRADING Upgrades work in such a way that if you currently own an armor, you may easily transition it from one Tier to the next, albeit, with a substantial cost. However, the weapon will gain a +1 to its Condition (IE, Basic -> Standard +1 -> Advanced +2, etc), which signifies that the armor is stronger than an ordinary armor of its condition. As well, these must be done in order, so it is a lot more costly to upgrade a Basic armor all the way up to Legendary. Cannot be used on Simple armors. ($$$) Basic -> Standard +1 ($$$) Standard -> Advanced +1 ($$$) Advanced -> Rare +1 ($$$) Rare -> Legendary +1 ($$$) Legendary -> Legendary +1, Free Enhancement Slot |
ENHANCEMENTS Basically, if it exists, it can be Enhanced. There are two kinds of Enhancements, but the distinction is largely aesthetic, as both are equal in strength and validity. There are Physical Enhancements, which could be anything from adding a set of spikes to a gauntlet, to mounting a hang-glider to a vest. The second form is Magical Enhancement, which is exactly what it sounds like; you can give your armor any sort of magical ability under the sun, within reason. Below, the Condition levels for your Enhancement, which must match that of the weapon in question. These cannot be applied to Simple armor, and only one may be used, per weapon. Stacks with free slots, however, such as in Accessories. ($$$) Basic ($$$) Standard ($$$) Advanced ($$$) Rare ($$$) Legendary |
