CALINA SAKATA

[ Crowns of Gold ] : All Royal characters are granted an additional 5,000 Swag to spend during character creation, as well as the ability to legally use discreet magic. World leaders are exceptional, and have unlimited Swag to work with, at creation; the funds of their nation power them.

Calina was born to a sweet, loving mother, but no one really knew about the woman. It was almost as if she had been completely erased from the history books. Some say that she up and flew the coop, fleeing to some distant land. But that would be a preposterous idea. There were no other islands on the planet. The vast expanse of water surrounding the countries was filled with vile creatures that would easily destroy a boat. Other than that theory, there was the whole "she must have killed herself" or "her terrible husband killed her". Regardless, the woman was nowhere to be found. Calina had seen her for a few years of her life, before her memory of her mother faded away. 

Her father, of course, is another story. The cruel man ran the country with an iron fist, cracking down on those whom he thought deserved the wicked punishment. Callie was a bit too young at the time to really understand what was going on. Some mean people would come into the palace at times, but Daddy Emperor would just yell at them and tell them to go away. He would hole himself up in his room a lot of the time, leaving Calina to play on her own or to find entertainment within the palace walls. A lot of the time this included messing around in the stables, or bothering the cooks. Her father, though, was never really all that fun to play with, as he'd just get irritated and tell her to go bother someone else. She didn't dislike him, though. Regardless of actions, he was still her father.

Calina never understood why people treated her so much differently than they did other people. It was rather strange, in her mind. She didn't want people to move out of the way. She wanted to dodge through the crowd like a bandit, hiding behind pillars and sneaking through the streets. But no, it couldn't be that way. Instead people would hastily move to the side, giving her room to walk and revealing her hiding positions. She guessed that it might have also had something to do with her bright clothing and fancy garb, but that was beside the point. There was this one guy, though, that treated her like any other person. Callie didn't much care for him at first, as he was always picking on her, but the attention and the way he talked and acted around her made her quickly grow fond of the guy. 

Callie was hardly 10 when the prep for Empressness began. She began being trained in the ways of leading a country. Not by her dad, of course, as he was locked up somewhere studying maps and charts and the like. Instead the family butler, an older man by the name of Alexander, helped her train to become the next empress of Runicleor. Callie thought his name was funny, but he told her that he wasn't from Runicleor. That was weird to her, but her dad allowed the man into the castle anyway - assured that the man would do his job and was not a spy. It was kinda strange though, how her father always called the man Jeeves, instead of Alex. But Alex simply noted that it was his surname. 

Over the years, Calina learned the ways of royalty, but didn't much care for it. It was a lot of big-girl work and responsibility that she didn't want to have to deal with. Her father wasn't too lenient with her distaste, but Alexander helped with it, making small tasks so much more fun. Keeping up with which nations liked which nations and which ones were allies and which had the best trades was a bit confusing, but she learned the ways of the throne. She didn't care to take the throne soon, though, ready to simply live out her days as a carefree child like the ones in town. It would probably be a while before she had to worry about that. Hopefully...

- Tried to propose that all animals in the country be given shelter in the palace. This was shot down by her father rather quickly. She still finds time to go out and feed stray pets from time to time - as well as people that need it.

- Has ears and a tail that she is always seen wearing. 

- Is currently in line to the throne of Runicleor

- Loves literally every person ever

This is where you list the armor your character wears. Armor is actually a pretty vaguely defined word, and really just means anything that is used to defend your character, or otherwise protect them.

Weapons are useful for attacking people, and generally anything involved with aggressive combat, rather than the passive combat uses of Armor. Be reasonable, guys.

- Kale - Yes, she owns a human being. 

Spells are the method through which magic is used. However, be cautious; public displays of magic are illegal, internationally, outside of explicitly stated areas. Therefore, anyone caught using magic that is noticeable or obvious WILL trigger a Random Event that causes the local police to pursue them. However, any spells that could be used without detection are perfectly fine for the less daring or foolish.

Enchantments are basically like spells, except for the fact that they are passive, by nature. Thus, if you have any spells that are never turned off, and don't need to be activated, then by all means, it should probably be an Enchantment. Different from equipment enchantments, of important note.

We say "Pets," but this is mostly a catch-all term for more things than that.This is where you can list your familiars/actual pets, mounts, magical summons, and for some odd reason, vehicles. You only get one of each slot, however, unless you buy additional Pet Slots. Additionally, you can purchase additional equipment for your pets; familiars may wear hats, mounts may wear chestpieces, vehicles can be enchanted, and summons can have a weapon.
