HISTORY ACT I: THE BIRTH OF A KINGDOM The year is 889 AD, and the center of the continent is divided into numerous villages and territories. Chaos is rampant amongst them, and disputes are frequent. While that certainly caused problems on its own, the neighboring, more well-developed, nations made countless attempts to fight their way to the heart of the land. Before 890, the many villages were expected to be crushed underfoot by one of the large nations; it was futile to fight back, and there would be no chance of victory. It seemed very bleak for the warring states. However, this all changed before the year had concluded, all in part to one man. Dorian Arreguin of Swynhedge. A strong and noble warrior of his small village, Dorian had a dream, a dream of his own conquest. Rather than allow the central territories of the continent to be consumed by larger entities, he took it upon himself to rally a militia, traveling from town to town, offering fame and fortune for fealty; many times, he was rejected, and many times, he took the city in battle. He moved in such a manner until the majority of the continent's center was his, in 912 AD. Old and battle-weary, he appointed his son, Hirum I, to the throne of the land that would one day be called Rayacre. Hirum I was a man much like his father, in ambition, and with lofty goals in mind, he planned to expand his small empire into a vast land, spanning from sea to sea, both ways. And so, he set out with an army and attacked first Blackgrass, a massive empire in itself. However, this undertaking was perhaps a bit beyond the nation's capabilities at the time, and it soon became apparent that this would be a very pyrrhic campaign. Hirum I, however, continued with his plan, unperturbed by the daunting odds, and soon enough, had grasped control of several cities located in present-day Bydale, as well as very successfully taking Alard's Crossing, the main headquarters of Blackgrass' infamous Mage's Guild. Having taken out the bulk of their magic-using soldiers, things were looking up for Rayacre, but this war would not be one that ended shortly after it began; no, the war was continued into 949 AD, when Hirum I passed his crown to his own son, Hirum II, who, in 1001, passed it down to his son, Byron I. In 1053, it went to Braxton, son of Byron I, then in 1098, to Braxton's son, Cyrus the Feeble. And feeble, he was; after 184 years of war with Blackgrass, with several ceasefires and breaks in combat, of course, it was he who admitted defeat, calling for a truce, and returning most of the conquered lands to the Blackgrassian king. As one could imagine, this didn't go over so well, and the king was soon usurped and condemned to exile by his nephew, Byron II. TRIVIA - Give us a nice pretty list - Of all your character's - Weirdest kinks - Ticks - Fetishes - Not really fetishes - And quirks.
ARMOR HEADPIECE - [Tiara/Rare] : Adorning Aliciana's head is a tiara, moreso a circlet, really, of silver and gold, adorned with three diamonds in the center, spaced out, with the center diamond, slightly above the rest. Providing little to no defense, it certainly offers a fair bit more magical energy, and adds to her natural charisma. As well, it is an heirloom, and three centuries old. CHESTPIECE - [Gown/Rare] : An elegant and intricately woven silk gown of pure white, embellished with pink lace, is what Aliciana ordinarily wears. It, much like the tiara, does almost nothing defensively, but it does strengthen her magic, and her charm; it too, is an heirloom, although only a generation or two back, rather than three hundred years. HANDPIECE - [Gloves/Rare] : Perhaps the only truly defensive piece of Aliciana's "armor," these gloves are also clean white silk, lined with soft velvet on the inside, for comfort. Of course, even then, all they really defend against is the cold. They are nice gloves, hoever, and were very expensive. They offer her fingers a lot of freedom of motion, however, and further add to her magical energy. LEGPIECE - [Stockings/Rare] : Much like her gloves, they are very nice, lace stockings under her gown. They don't do much either, but, as seems to be the norm for all of her clothing, they do bolster her magic quite a bit. Further, they also offer her a bit of swiftness when running- that is, they should... FOOTWEAR - [Heels/Rare] : If she didn't insist on wearing her heels. And not merely any heels, but pristinely polished, delicately crafted, glass slippers, right out of some fairy tale she'd heard of once. They do absolutely nothing but increase her magical abilities, and completely nullify the speed that her stockings offer, by being utterly useless for moving quickly. Have you ever tried to run in heels? ACCESSORY I - [Necklace/Rare] : The first truly useful piece of equipment, this necklace is one of solid gold, with a decently sized ruby gemstone, and is as old as the circlet; it, however, has a few more tricks up its sleeve, than that... ENCHANTMENT - [Type/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION ACCESSORY II - [Earrings/Rare] : As well, these earrings match the necklace, being gold with tiny ruby studs, and they too, are enchanted with powerful defensive magic. ENCHANTMENT - [Type/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION ACCESSORY III - [Crown/Rare] : And as the piece de resistance, Aliciana's crown itself is enchanted; by far the oldest of her jewelries, it is solid gold with a large ruby in the very center of it. The royal crown of the Rayacrian throne since the nation's birth, just over a millennium ago, if it weren't for the magic it holds, it would certainly not have lasted so long. ENCHANTMENT - [Type/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION
WEAPONS LEFT HAND - [Dagger/Advanced] : A well-crafted ENCHANTMENT - [-mancy/Tier 4] : RIGHT HAND - N/A BODY MOD I - [Vocal Cord/Rare] : DESCRIPTION ENCHANTMENT - [Sonicomancy/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION BODY MOD II - [Diaphragm/Rare] : DESCRIPTION ENCHANTMENT - [Sonicomancy/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION BODY MOD III - [Auditory/Rare] : DESCRIPTION ENCHANTMENT - [Sonicomancy/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION
INVENTORY This is just a nice catch-all to list any relatively mundane, or at least, non-combat-useful, items. These have no effect on stats or anything else, really, but can basically be whatever you want them to be. You want to lug around a ninety pound anchor, I can't very well stop you. List format, please. You are limited only by your imagination and the laws of physics. - ITEM I - DESCRIPTION - ITEM II - DESCRIPTION
SPELLS Spells are the method through which magic is used. However, be cautious; public displays of magic are illegal, internationally, outside of explicitly stated areas. Therefore, anyone caught using magic that is noticeable or obvious WILL trigger a Random Event that causes the local police to pursue them. However, any spells that could be used without detection are perfectly fine for the less daring or foolish. You can have unlimited spells. See here for details. SPELL I - [Word of Power/Tier 6] : DESCRIPTION SPELL II - [Word of Power/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION SPELL III - [Word of Power/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION SPELL IV - [Sonicmancy/Tier 4] : DESCRIPTION SPELL V - [Word of Power/Tier 3] : DESCRIPTION SPELL VI - [Word of Power/Tier 3] : DESCRIPTION SPELL VII - [Word of Power/Tier 3] : DESCRIPTION
ENCHANTMENTS Enchantments are basically like spells, except for the fact that they are passive, by nature. Thus, if you have any spells that are never turned off, and don't need to be activated, then by all means, it should probably be an Enchantment. Different from equipment enchantments, of important note. Refer to this thread for details. PETS We say "Pets," but this is mostly a catch-all term for more things than that. This is where you can list your familiars/actual pets, mounts, magical summons, and for some odd reason, vehicles. You only get one of each slot, however, unless you buy additional Pet Slots. Additionally, you can purchase additional equipment for your pets; familiars may wear hats, mounts may wear chestpieces, vehicles can be enchanted, and summons can have a weapon. Refer to this thread for details. FAMILIAR - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION HEADPIECE - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION MOUNT - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION CHESTPIECE - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION VEHICLE - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION ENCHANTMENT- [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION SUMMON I - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION WEAPON- [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION SUMMON II - [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION WEAPON- [Type/Tier] : DESCRIPTION
NPCs If you happen to have any NPCs, link to their app below. As NPCs are available at Tier 2 and up, you shouldn't have to worry about this yet. If you've reached Tier 2, see here for details.
