Kingdoms of War, abbreviated KoW here, is a cool af place where pretty much anything goes. While the site is set in the year 1923, there are various things that are a lot different than the 1923 that was experienced here on earth. In this 1923, there are things that have been invented and discovered that probably shouldn't have been around at the time - take flight for example. Planes were invented in the late 1800's in our timeline. Take a look at the plot thread for a little more info.

What was that plot, again?

KoW is all about kingdoms and warfare and that stuff, but also more. If you haven't checked in with the Class information page, that can help you in understanding what this RP forum will be like. While it seems very Kingdom-y and medieval, it's set in 1923 and there will be 1923 aspects as well.

Why are you waiting? Make a character.

Go ahead and start on your template ;w; This is a pretty easy thing to do, what with the way the template is set up. You can find the template, as well as the place to post your template here. Feel free to go ahead and upload your template, even if it isn't complete yet - just tack "wip" on the title or we'll believe that you're done and ready for approval. If you need more help on making a character and filling out the template, take a look at this nifty character guide.

I made a character. What now?

Once your character has been approved by staff, you are released from your chains, my friend. Go ahead and open up a thread in one of the countries and start playing. Tacking "open" into the title of your thread allows random players to join in with you. If you already have a player in mind to thread with and have set it up with them, you can just tack their name into the title.
Example Time!

You - John Doe - don't have anyone to play with but want to thread, you can make something like "The Rain in Spain (Open!)" once you find a player or two, change it to "The Rain in Spain (Closed!).
You already have a person/people in mind, you can just add their name(s) to the thread title - if there's room. So, if you want to play with Jen and Joe your title would be "The Rain in Spain (John/Jen/Joe)"
