You wanna make the magicks happen? You came to the right place. Magic is a thing here on KoW, but only in certain places. Magic is only publicly permitted in Faycrest and Blackgrass. Publicly performing magic in Runicleor, Rayacre, or Bydale will get you arrested. This doesn't mean that those in the latter countries are banned from knowing magic. People are "sort of allowed" to do simple magic within their own homes. By that, we mean it's sort of illegal. But if no one sees, it should be fine right? But if you set the house on fire, that's your own damn fault. Good luck explaining that to officials.

People are allowed an unlimited number of spells and the possibilities are endless, but please note that magic is not in unlimited supply. Your character isn't going to nuke the town with his/her fire magic and then bring in a tsunami to put it out. (We don't know why they would attempt that, but just take the example, okay?) Magic takes a toll on the body. As one progresses in the skills of magic, they will be able to do bigger and more extravagant displays.

Preforming magic in public in Runicleor, Bydale, or Rayacre will result in a Random Event in which you will be chased down by public officials. You may or may not escape da popo, we'll see.
